June 7 Kick-Off

Let's get moving

Last year's get-healthy community program was a success. Now the City of San Mateo and Mills-Peninsula Health Services are teaming up again to help you incorporate health and wellness practices into your everyday life.

San Mateo On the Move is about getting you, your neighbors, friends and family - the whole county of San Mateo - to walk, jog, swim, dance, ride bikes and simply get moving.

Take advantage of the many fitness opportunities in San Mateo. Check out Classes & Events and find something that works for you. County citizens can register time and/or distance of any fitness activity in the four-month period between Saturday, June 7 and Saturday, September 27.

The June 7 kick-off event at San Mateo's Central Park will include health and wellness information, health screenings, fitness demonstrations, dance performances and even a Family Fit Zone!
