Mills-Peninsula is named one of the best places to work
Mills-Peninsula was named one of the Best Places to Work in the Bay Area in a survey by the San Francisco Business Times, Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal, East Bay Business Times and Deloitte.
“This is the third year in a row that Mills-Peninsula has been rated as the top health care provider to work for,” said CEO Bob Merwin. “For 2005 and 2006, we were No. 1 for all large and very large companies, and this year we remain No. 2 for those two categories. It goes without saying that we are the top health care organization in the survey.”
The award announcement points out that Mills-Peninsula employees have an average tenure of 13 years and that the vacancy rate for nurses is only 2 percent.
